Some sad news and a sense of a new morning

The Knytes High Council met overnight and it was a shame we all had to go to Ogden Utah just to sit down have a brew and visit with the crew. Many things were put on the table, one I discovered from having lunch at Tumbleweeds. Seems as though the owner thereof has placed the property on Remax listings, which means we need to now bid on. Even while the officers of the Knytes were getting things together to outright buy the place. At $800k That's a huge bunch of bread to swallow no matter how much your generating. This is going to be one of those things, like many in Evanston, too much money for so little in return. Nothing against the owners of Tumbleweeds, Lisa and hubby are great people, but with the Knytes there's a process, due to getting burned before, and as such a full market study and ability for a rapid return of investment, before checks are carved. Since this was time sensitive The club asked me, to have Lisa and I go to the Boise hq of the Knytes to hammer out details, since many of our club officers can't come here with the busy schedule, but Lisa dug in her heels, didn't want to go. But that's not everything.
Seems as our groovy landlord of the shop, wants to raise rent. To $1,000.00 a month. The fact that the group of shops aside ours being wind ruined is part of it, low inventory, high demand, so we again are looking to Idaho and Utah, for a shop, there to move to come August. Meaning not much going on here at the radio station. I need to put my full attention into my trucks, get this disaster called Evanston completed and pack up and vanish.
On the radio station,. The council see's no future in that here in Evanston. The area while many could , will not support the station. Either in human resources or ad sales. So the eyes are on areas in eastern Idaho for that coupled with ours in western Idaho.
I wanted to be on air overnight, but when I crawled in bed after 96 hours of being awake the stress of bar, shop, radio station, and towing, I fell asleep and for all intents was dead to most outside input.
I'm sorry, but there is no future for the Knytes-of-Dixie or my company in Evanston, Wyoming. Its been 3 years, since I dropped anchor here, through cold, snow, the loss of two SnapOn tool boxes containing nearly $20k of quality tools, right off the back of MY little truck, here which the cops here could not find, the only partner I had that was worth calling one is Rick aka Dark Horse, the two prior were not partners. They were takers, a partnership means both owners put in for bills and expenses, not just one(me). No wonder everyone is moving from not to Evanston Wyoming. The fact that even at 04:00 hours one can't find one place to snag a cup of java in a sit down place is pure bull. Sure the two Subway's at both Pilot and Flying J, are open, but I don't eat a sub at breakfast. And all I want is a cup of coffee , at least in even Burley you have two places to sit down and grab a cup.
The Knytes-of-Dixie just don't have a big reason to invest any serious money here and what little they have and I have has hurt us. As I look back, I just should have kept the $550.00 I gave to the two crooks who managed the Yellow Creek Estates, stayed two more days, and went back to the Bountiful area of Utah. Looked around there more and just stayed put., Course if I had known that the crooks of Yellow Creek, still had my money at the first of December of 2014, I would have asked for the majority of that back and left.
Bottom line the Club and I as far as Evanston Wyoming are done.

  1. Looks like Lisa is smart enough to see through your fake club BS. Good for her.
