Simple things mean a lot and make other things more plausable

Yesterday was a tilta whirl to be sure. Was up at 05:00 getting ready to do a show, but it being Sunday thought I'd let my downstairs neighbors snooze a bit, so watched some Hulu, TV , until I found from a pop up notice that Hulu, billed me wrong so gotta wait until Wednesday, to fix that problem, so the Bishop texted me that church was going as usual, went, but found the atmosphere was considerably different. Dave, and his kin were not there, hey maybe they moved I thought or maybe its just they all went elsewhere for Memorial Day, a gift btw to all Americans from our Sisters of Dixie,  so after sacrament meeting, I was going to chat with our Bishop, but caught a call so took that. After which, took the Viper (one of our helicopters) did a quick flight to Yuma to MCAS to welcome back a bunch of the 214 back home, a few of those are members of the Knytes as well as the WolfPack , which means the more of those that come home for extended leave and such, the more of them can do the heavy lifting work that I'm so burdened with, that things like the Bar and Grill, can be ran by them, not always me, short on that, it means me departure from Evanston, back home to Hazzard can happen sooner than later, and I can attempt to piece back together what Shelly and I are all about, in a place big enough to have everything, small enough to be called a rural city, and give me some peace.
Okay then. This morning at 11:00 AM there's supposed to be a thing at the roundhouse, honoring Vets, first don't know where the roundhouse is, but I'll be there anyway. As I think that honoring those who have paid the ultimate price is worth the trouble.
I need to clear something up here. Lisa, my new friend from the TumbleWeed is just that a dear friend and associate. Nothing more. Sure the other night absorbed with a bit too much alky, we got much closer than might otherwise be. What she did though was put a bandaid over a seriously bleeding wound, when she really did not have too. The fact that I haven't been touched in any way by a human woman, for nearly 20 years or so, made me a bit clumsy to say the least, but the fact that she did, cemented a mess of things together, that were, to say the least a bit  on the shaky side. It's not so much buying a place, its running one. A bar & eating place is tough. What the hell I know about running a bar can be found in the pages of, placing mouth under a brew tap and pulling a lever. Sure I can be great in a kitchen, but I can make what tastes good to me, not always to others. Finding a stand in manager and all is a tough gig. Sure many might stay there, after the Club buys it, but with my rep here, might not be a bunch of split tails that will stay. Kind of the little Red Ridding hoods, not wanting to be eaten by the big bad Wolf here, thing. Plan of action is; Finalize on the bar & grill here in June, finish up on the radio station as well, July finish putting the touches on my rides, so that come August, Shelly and I can go over to Hazzard , Idaho. Find a place to live, shop/office for me, and then get my butt out of here come September 1st. So I don't have to spend another unproductive winter or life in Evanston frigging Wyoming. As far as the Reaper and radio station , plan is buy, build recruit and hire people for both, then let them run it, and my only involvement? Unless it burns down or something like that I can pretty much forget it, let the Club do it. From what I heard, and I trust the source, having people you thought were your friends, and associates, tell you they were going to involve you in their race track, yet do not call you, but love to spend YOUR money feeding their drinking and eating fantasies, and yet call you everything except a white man behind your back, why the hell would I want to reside here, like I said, let the Club, and the other members deal with this crap hole for a town , and leave me out of it. I'd rather put a life together in Idaho, with my Shelly, and live a simple one at that, knowing that the radio thing, bar and such here is doing its thing, but me at a far distance from it.
Anyway gotta get this day started. See ya'll on the radio this afternoon starting at 17:00(5:00PM) on www.livestream.com/samcroradio
