Again, I have to ask , are we as a club, the only ones doing it right? And are we the only media radio firm getting it?

I just went online a few centons ago, and looked in on this contest that RFDTV is running, asking where I tune into Rural Radio on XM/Sirius ? So I clicked went to the site to post my entry, the damn thing did not work, it took me to the same registration page I used to sign up with RFDTV email updates. Say what, the Foxtrot? So then I got to thinking as I was winding down from yet another good show on Spreaker.com where we are currently airing our streaming side of my over the air and our own XM radio shows, and so was thinking, are we the only ones doing things right. Take for example, this potential bar purchase. The cost of admission there is substantial, and I want to be able to tell the President , both charter, as well as national President, that its a sound investment. Just because the current owners are knocking down good customer and bank numbers does not mean we will. After all the current owners are married, meaning the tender angelic honeys that work there now are fine with them, but will they be keen, on a ownership of gearheaded bikers/gearheads/pilots? I saw a fair crowd in there last night, but I'm not so sure, that the eating side did as well, but that's just my opinion. Could we do better? I think so, but thinking and knowing is thin ice for plunking down near a million big ones. In a small village that treasures its Book of Mormon rather than the power of positive drinking and socializing. Sure the help looks great two are what I classify as hotties, but customer wise, I havent seen the super foxes walking in as well. I'd like to expand that customer base into what little younger folk that live here. Its called being careful. Now granted I'm not the most beloved here. I stubbed my feet quite a bit, and expecting much more from an ultra narrow minded population. But I have to look at what we already have going. Up until 2013 just slightly before the final filing window by the FCC opened that year for LPFM CP's and all. Due to my duties to my own aviation company I was right in the middle of doing private for hire fire extinguishing up near Sun Valley and Fairfield Idaho. So we missed the deadline. But up until 2013, HazzardAyre and the rest of it had never seen anything online airing only over the air and satellite radio. Then a biker friend of mine who lived near Lake Tahoe and worked at a TV station in San Fran, turned me onto Livestream.com, where we have been ever since at least online. Overall we do well there. The money flows in constant as far as the radio gig is concerned we are making a good living , even when thousands of LPFM's and even full wattage stations are going under.
Each and every investment is usually gone over with a fine toothed comb, except for the move I made in 2014 that brought me back to Evanston , Wyoming. When I packed up and split in 2006, I would have and I did, say, " never in a quadrillion years would I ever reside in this rustic bassackwards galldad bullheaded stubborn community" But I came saw was not impressed and had a snow storm not hit the next morning, my butt would not be here now. God has made it clear, for some galldarn reason, I'm supposed to with the input , support, from the Knytes/AyreWolvez, to rescue this dillweed village from its own conceit and arrogance .
When I post something online, on the air or even in public , what I post is damn well what it is, no maybe baby. Or something sinister. Sure just before I got here some buttwipe went around with the claim, he was rescuing KEVA AM 1240 from the ashes. this same buttwipe, cheated several business's and area public, and we walked into a mine field. Thing is our radio op, and potential bar buy, if done is a solid concept. The old adage of if its such a great idea, why hasn't someone else done it is one thing. But if we had that same mind set HazzardAyre Radio never would have came to being, Hazzard County Choppers/Highway Hooker Toewing would have never would have been born. Beyond us the great visionaries would not have made their contributions, to society. Granted they didn't do it in Evanston Wyoming, but back then neither was it done in podunk Idaho either. But we advanced and progressed as a club and I would like to think I as a small business owner have learned and acquired the same acumen lessons and abilities to recognize what could be, and followed through with it. Take for example even my own Mom and Dad, and distant relative Uncle Harrold. When I was merely 7-1/2 years old this white haired guy named Jay Call, Ed Thomas Bill Maybomb, got together at our home in Layton Utah. They all had this idea of a fancy upscale truck stop to be built on the edge of Ogden Utah, on the side of the eventual I-15/80, then now I-15/84 . Up to that point all that was there was a swamp and bullfrogs. So my parents invested money a substantial amount, So did Uncle Harrold and surrendered his oil company called Husky Oil, that became Flying J Oil/Flying J travel Plazas and the rest is history. That half a million investment by my parents turned into the Montgomery/Summit Trust, and of course helped ignite the Knytes/AyreWolvez, which is why I have the ability to go after such a thing as the potential bar buy here in Evanston and other things I want to do.
Along the way both myself and the Club, have succeeded because of careful investigation and knowing all sides of something before just jumping in. And seeing red flags and pulling out or retreating, before the bridge is blown up.
More Later, got to catch some sleep, but I again are we the only ones doing it right? Are we the only media radio firm, getting it? Must be, but then after all we are The Knytes-of-Dixie/AyreWolvez Aviation Association.
More on the AyreWolvez next entry.
